We are Mom Dreams.

A place to dream.
What are Mom Dreams?

It's the subconscious place a mother’s thoughts, concerns, desires, and doubts live and breathe. Breanna did not become aware of her “mom dreams” until she was inebriated on a couch babbling that there were no animals at the zoo. When she should have been awake enjoying some much needed, overdue time with people that reminded her she was young, she was asleep, exhausted, and unknowingly exposing her biggest insecurities. She gave up, but she found herself in quitting. Her life is a reflection of the Mom and the Dream, the holding on and the release, her story and the lessons that could not have been learned if her daughter didn't call her a quitter and her son didn't call her a smother mother. She hopes through hearing her stories you will learn to laugh a little more, find joy in the chaos, and accept all that life presents as a challenge to grow, mature, and not lose your mind. The guided journals after the laughter and the tears in each chapter, will provide an opportunity for you to examine your own life from a fresh perspective. You will laugh again, you will touch joy, and your transition from Mom to Dream will be the epitome of your accomplishments. We are no longer settling for just enough. We are no longer choosing to shrink. We can embody the Mom and the Dream because we are capable, we are resilient, we have value, and we have purpose. She lived a life of limitations for too long because she believed she had to choose. It took a path of self-reflection, patience, accountability, and acceptance to move from mediocrity to pursuing a life worth living. She has weaknesses and insecurities, but she is also a woman who can thrive in uncertainty, push through adversity, and accomplish what seems impossible. This book was once an impossibility. She is a woman, a mother, a dreamer, and this is Mom Dreams.
Meet the Founder & Author

Breanna Standifer is the founder of the organization and author of the book Mom Dreams. She blogs consistently to share her personal perspective, but this first book is an extension of her passion to see women experience community, healing, and wholeness as they pursue their dreams. She was often the one people called for support and advice, but she was unfulfilled, paralyzed with fear, and living a life beneath her abilities and potential. When she experienced progress after starting her healing and self-discovery journey, it ignited a desire for her to see other women pursue and reach their purpose.
When Breanna isn't writing or connecting with the Mom Dreams community, she serves families in underprivileged areas in the DFW area. For five years, she served as the President of the Board of Directors for JTC X-Change, a non-profit that focused on community outreach and youth empowerment. She currently serves on the board of Servanthood Ministries, an organization that supports youth and community outreach initiatives. She acquired her Bachelors Degree in Public Relations, minor in Business Administration, from the University of Texas at Arlington, and in 2021, she received her Masters Degree in Human Resource Management from Tarleton State University. She has been a wife for over 16 years, and she is a mother of 2 beautiful children.

This process would not have been possible without Kellie B Books. Her experience was invaluable as she helped Breanna navigate this new space. Kellie is patient, insightful, knowledgeable, and it was clear that she had a unique ability to articulate her voice and intent as she provided input on each chapter. She is an exceptional writer, and she is passionate about helping authors translate their message and realize their dream of becoming an author. Even if you are unsure on how to start the process, every book starts with an idea, and Kellie B Books is who you need to make that an idea a reality. Reading Mom Dreams reminded me that being a mother and a dreamer are not separate identities; they are divine assignments that work together. It spoke to the parts of me that were tired but still hopeful. It reminded me that God hasn’t forgotten the dreams He placed in my heart and that motherhood didn’t pause my purpose.
This book encouraged me to pursue my business with faith, balance and boldness. It helped me see that God placed my dreams in my heart for a reason and that I can build, nurture, and grow both my family and my purpose at the same time. Mom Dreams gave me permission to dream again and reminded me that my children are watching me walk on purpose and that’s the greatest legacy I can leave.

As a mom with a dream, I know how rare it is to find a community that truly gets it. Mom Dreams is that place. It’s more than an organization—it’s a movement. Whether you're a biological mother, a spiritual mother, or a mother of purpose, you are seen, valued, and welcomed in this space.
I've always felt supported, uplifted, and empowered here.
So thank you.
Thank you for creating a space where we get to show up fully, unapologetically, and authentically.
