Simply Grace Gardens and family

Simply Grace Gardens LLC Our Story

Simply Grace Gardens LLC was born from a personal desire to reconnect with the land, grow healthier food, and create holistic wellness for myself, my family, and my community. What began as small container gardening turned into a calling to empower families and communities to grow, learn, and thrive.

From its inception, gardening has served not merely as an activity for planting seeds, but has also functioned as an educational setting, a place of refuge, and a form of service. Every achievement and lesson helped me develop patience, resilience, stewardship, and grace. As friends, neighbors, and members of my community started seeking advice, that’s when I realized this journey was bigger than me.

Seeking ways to nurture women as they age, Temple Wellness was birthed (still in her infancy stage). It is growing alongside Simply Grace Gardens where we address some of the deeper needs of women—especially over 50—to reclaim their health, confidence, and joy through holistic wellness that honors spirit, body, and soul. Together, Simply Grace Gardens and Temple Wellness reflect my calling to nurture the land, nurture the body, and nurture the spirit—helping people live whole, healthy, and purpose-filled lives.

How I Got Started - The Early Journey

My journey with Simply Grace Gardens LLC began long before I ever filed paperwork or planted my first official bed. It started in a season when I was yearning for peace, healing, and a deeper connection with God. Life felt heavy, my health needed attention, and I knew I wanted to create a better lifestyle for myself and my family. I didn’t start with acres of land, I had a backyard, small spaces, a handful of containers, and a desire to grow something meaningful.

My garden was called Alabaster Flows, and it became my therapy, my teacher, and my safe place. I learned to nurture life one seed at a time through trial and lessons. Some plants flourished, some didn’t, but in every moment, God was teaching me patience, stewardship, resilience, rest, and grace. As my garden grew, so did my spirit. I saw how growing food could restore families, build community, and bring people back to the basics of living well.

My personal journey of healing evolved into a vision of wholeness as requests continued to come from friends, neighbors, and members of the community — “Can you teach me?” “Can you help me start a garden?” These questions served as clear validation of this direction. Each incremental step, including workshops, grow boxes, and wellness communications, contributed to clarifying the mission. Simply Grace Gardens was established in response to genuine need, guided by the principle that everyone should have access to fresh food, foundational gardening knowledge, and a practical route to self-sufficiency.

What Makes Simply Grace Gardens LLC Products & Services Special

What makes Simply Grace Gardens LLC truly special is that every product, workshop, and service is rooted in purpose, accessibility, and transformation—not just gardening. My work goes beyond seeds and soil; it touches hearts, wellness, community, faith, and legacy. We make gardening accessible for everyone. No matter if a person lives in an apartment, has mobility challenges, or is unsure how to start, each product is created to make gardening easy, accessible, and worry-free. Our grow boxes, kits, and workshops break gardening down into manageable steps with clear instructions, care guides, and hands-on support.

We offer personalized garden services including consultations, coaching, and full garden installations to help you grow a garden that suits your lifestyle. Our seasonal grow boxes, starter plant packs, and herb bundles make it easy for families to grow their own food with confidence and joy. We also offer hands-on workshops, sharing practical knowledge on sustainable gardening, plant care, and natural wellness. Through our presence at local farmers markets, we provide fresh, homegrown produce and connect with the community.

The heart of our work is creating connections through community-centered and relationship-driven services. We offer practical education, not just supplies. Everyone walks away with knowledge they can use for years. We empower families to grow long after the workshop ends. Offering designs from small spaces to urban farms, we provide affordable solutions no matter the space. Our garden consultation caters to beginner and intermediate gardeners, anyone seeking individualized support to establish a successful garden.

This business was built from my journey of healing, restoration, and spiritual growth. When people work with Simply Grace Gardens, they aren’t getting a generic service, they feel seen, supported, and spiritually uplifted. Families walk away not just with plants, but with a better understanding of how to care for the earth.

What I Love Most About Being Part of the Local Co-Op Community

What I love most about being part of the local co-op community is the sense of shared purpose. Co-ops aren’t just markets or vendor spaces, they are living ecosystems of people who care about local food, sustainability, wellness, and community resilience. Being part of this co-op community allows me to become a part of something bigger than myself.

I love relationships that grow organically. There is something powerful about standing shoulder-to-shoulder with people who believe in what you’re doing and for me that is teaching families how to grow their own food, feeding communities, uplifting small businesses, and creating a local food system that honors people and the planet.

For me, it’s also a place where faith, stewardship, and purpose come alive. The co-op community gives me space to serve, teach, encourage, and sow into others while we collectively build a healthier future. To get more involved, I would love to offer more workshops, join committees, partner with other vendors, volunteer at events, and create co-op-exclusive products that build deeper connections.

What Keeps Me Motivated When Business Gets Tough

Remembering my why keeps me motivated. I started Simply Grace Gardens to empower families, teach sustainable living, and reconnect people to God’s creation. I remind myself that at every small step, every workshop, every grow box, and every connection that fulfills my mission. That bigger picture keeps me moving forward. Faith is the cornerstone of both my personal life and my business. I turn to God’s Word for guidance and encouragement, finding peace in knowing that growth like a garden takes patience, care, and timing. Trusting God’s plan helps me persevere, even when outcomes are uncertain.

Every success, no matter how small, is a victory worth celebrating. I am surrounded by mentors, friends, and fellow entrepreneurs who uplift and inspire me. Sharing challenges and learning from others’ experiences reminds me I’m not alone in this journey. The co-op community, my workshop participants, and even online connections provide encouragement when momentum slows. Challenges are opportunities in disguise. Every obstacle is a chance to innovate, refine my offerings, and grow both personally and professionally. The struggles remind me why I love this work and inspire creative solutions that make Simply Grace Gardens and Temple Wellness even stronger.

Something Fun, Unique, and Unexpected About My Story and Brand

My story and brand are fun and unexpected because they mix urban gardening, holistic wellness, community empowerment, family, and unscripted real-life interaction with each workshop. From urban patios to small container gardens, I’ve taken tiny spaces and turned them into thriving, productive, and beautiful spots that teach resilience, patience, and joy.

Yeah, sometimes the most unexpected lessons come from things like a stubborn tomato plant or a failed seed batch! Those “oops” moments often make the best teaching stories.

Another unexpected part of my story is how this year my passion for gardening naturally extended into faith-based wellness for women over 40. That is how Temple Wellness was birthed. People are often surprised to learn that a business about herbs, grow boxes, and workshops is also a space where women are encouraged spiritually, emotionally, and physically. It’s holistic, practical, and deeply personal all at the same time.

I also love adding little playful touches to the brand and look forward to 2026 additions like personalized care cards, and devotionals paired with grow kits to go with our themed garden boxes (think “Herbal Tea Garden” or “Healing Garden”). It’s fun, it’s creative, and it surprises people how thoughtful and interactive gardening can be when faith and wellness are woven in.

I look forward to connecting and growing with you!
